WordPress Web Development Course - Part 1

What is a website? "Website is a data or an information of anything or a collection of data which is present on the internet."

Important Terms / Abbreviations:

WWW -  World Wide Web
SEO -     Search Engine Optimization
SSL -      Secure Socket Layer
HTML - Hypertext Markup Language
CSS -     Cascading Style Sheets
PHP -     Hypertext Pre-Process
URL-     Uniform Resource Locator
HTTP -  Hypertext Transfer Protocol

What is Domain? "For Example - (https://www.google.com) in this google.com is called domain."

Procedure:  
  1. Follow this procedure/ Instructions to start this course.
  2. Internet Connection and Laptop are very important to start this course. You can do it on your Mobile Phone also, but it is difficult on Mobile Phone to use. So, Laptop is required for this work. 
  3. Firstly, create your Gmail account - "For Example Like - sheikhali76@gmail.com" on Browser (Chrome).  
  4. Then install "XAMPP", "WordPress.org" and "WinRAR" from the google website.
  5. Place/Drag "XAMPP File from downloads to desktop" and Open "XAMPP File and install it." and then close it.
  6. Then, the XAMPP file will be automatically placed in the Local Disk (C:).
  7. (Next step - WordPress) - After installing WordPress, place/ drag "WordPress from downloads to desktop" and then first zip the WordPress into the file with the help of WinRAR.
  8. Then find "htdocs" in the XAMPP file and "Copy & Paste" WordPress zip file in "htdocs"
  9. Then do left-click on the WordPress zip file, the "Extract Here" option will appear to click on it. Wait for a minute. One file will appear on the Local Disk (C:), WordPress file without any zip format (Simple file). That's it is your (Project name = wordpress). If want to change your project name, you can change it, this is your own choice, and this project name will be further used for work. 
  10. Open Browser / Chrome and Enter (localhost/wordpress), here wordpress is your project name. and if an error occurs in the window, it means you don't start the XAMPP.
  11. So, first start XAMPP. 
  12. To Start XAMPP, Open the file XAMPP from the Local Disk (C:), In XAMMP there are many files in which you have to move down and find the "xampp-control" option and then double click on it and then a new window will appear. Then start "Apache" and "MySQL" and minimize it. (Don't close it.)
  13. Then go to browser/Chrome and Enter (localhost/wordpress), then the window will be open. Select English Language and Click on the "Continue" button, then click on the "Let's go" button. A new window will appear don't close it, first will create database name.  
  14. Click on the New tab on Browser/ Chrome to make (Database Name), and enter "localhost/phpmyadmin", then the new window will be "open" and now, we have to create New Database so, look on right side "New" option and click on it.
  15. Write your (project name = wordpress) in create database just and click on the "Create" button. Now your Database name is created.
  16. Go back to the first website and write.

                Database Name: wordpress

                Username: root

                Password: Leave password empty (None) ok

            then click on the "Submit" button and click on "Run the installation"


    17. Then a new window will appear "information needed" and then just write your


                Full name: Ali

                Username: Ali056

                Password: 67fgj89bv

                Email: sheikhali76@gmail.com

          then "install WordPress". Now your WordPress is installed.
